Amsterdam Sinfonietta’s last collaboration with the harpist Lavinia Meijer culminated in a superb CD for Sony Classical, a refined French album entitled ‘Voyage’. Amsterdam Sinfonietta and Lavinia continue their journey.

After a passionate Italianate opening with Boccherini and Verdi the listener enters an oasis of peace. Here you will hear works by the composer in residence Van Rossem, Einaudi and Glass. The minimalist Dessner stokes up the fire again: snapping strings and rasping bows!
